Charlie has also spent hundreds of hours under the sea as a professional diver. Dixie is a Canadian who loves to sail and travel, and was one of the original crew who sailed Liahona to the Caribbean from South Africa!

Her latest specialties are Thai and Chinese! Her menus are always tailored to her guests and she specializes in creative uses of local specialties that ensure your taste buds are always enticed.

We had very high expectations for the trip. Perhaps they weren't realistic but we hoped for something very, very special. Charlie and Dixie made this trip ALL we had hoped for.... and more! They were accommodating, friendly, nice, UNBELIEVABLE cooks and host ... hostess, knowledgeable, they let us do what we wanted to do, go where we wanted to go and did everything they could to make us comfortable.
Everyone who is planning a trip to the BVI should go with Liahona and take Dixie and Charlie as their captain and crew.
Liahona is a beautiful ship in excellent shape. The itinerary in the BVI was exceptional.
