Copper Penny accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 spacious cabins each with a queen sized bed and en-suite. Enjoy a Blu-Ray DVD on the 18 flat screen tv in your room or keep in touch and read the news online via the boat's wireless internet. Watch your favorite college football team play on the 42 flat screen 3-D TV in the salon or spend your time on Copper Penny completely unplugged - it's your vacation, your way.
If you like to be active, we've got the gear. Strap on the waterskies, snorkel a reef teeming with tropical fish or throw a line in the water as we sail to Anegada - activities and options abound on Copper Penny. Your captain is also a PADI Dive master so if you're a certified diver, you will definitely want to check out some of the great dives in the BVI like the Wreck of the Rhone or Diamond Reef. Your weight integrated BC and dive computer make it easy.

Description: |
Cameron and Rhonda hail from Alberta Canada and their passion for sailing and adventure has driven them to pursue a diverse range of sailing locations and experiences. One of their favorite sailing sites is the British Virgin Islands where they love to share their excitement for the region and all it has to offer with their guests aboard Copper Penny.
Cameron has been sailing most of his life, beginning at age 12 aboard his family's sailboat in Vancouver and later competing nationally on the British Columbia Provincial sailing team. He has crewed in numerous distance and offshore races in the Pacific Northwest and is MCA certified. Prior to skippering Copper Penny, Cameron spent many years in the marine shipping and transportation industry in a variety of roles. When not on the water, Cameron, enjoys being in the water and is a PADI Divemaster with many specialties. He has been diving since 1988. His skill, professionalism and enthusiasm makes for a fun and safe sailing vacation.
Rhonda is also an avid sailor, having completed numerous Canadian Yachting Association certifications and the Master of Yachts 200 Gross Ton qualification. Her passion for sailing is matched by her enthusiasm for cooking and entertaining. Her use of fresh local ingredients to add local flavor to her dishes makes for a wonderful dining experience. Prior to boarding Copper Penny, Rhonda spent 12 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative and before that worked in the horse industry as a Canadian Equestrian Federation riding coach. She is also a PADI Open Water Diver.
This outgoing, fun and personable couple have a variety of interests outside of sailing including fly fishing, travelling and horseback riding, to name a few. Come and enjoy their western hospitality and the yacht charter vacation of a lifetime in a beautiful Caribbean setting! |
